The Aquarium in Old Town is locally owned and operated daily by Rick and Tonya Spear. As long time hobbyists ourselves, we saw the need for an upscale shop in Wichita where customers could get the personalized service and attention they deserve along with high quality livestock and a knowledgeable staff. Our whole purpose for opening THE AQUARIUM was to offer hobbyists a shop dedicated to marine aquatics only, and give them the peace of mind that comes with dealing with a company that has years of experience in the hobby and cares about their LONG TERM success in keeping an aquarium. With over 30 years of combined experience, we know we can help make this hobby as much fun for you as it is for us. We have led the way with new filtration and maintenance techniques to increase the enjoyment while minimizing the effort that it takes to maintain a healthy saltwater environment.

ABOUT OUR STORE

Located in historic old town, THE AQUARIUM is a unique blend of charm, ambiance and modern technology, the entire store is driven by a state of the art custom centralized filtration system. This explains in great part the success of the store and our ability to offer such a large selection of healthy specimens. We can help you set up the same type of system on a smaller scale for your home or office.
